From Cub Scout to Boy scout!

This last week Joseph earned his Arrow of light and his webelo badge. One thing about Joey is that he takes everything so serious, so this was a huge deal for him as it was for us! We are so proud of him:)

Last week at Fort Herriman Middle School they were welcoming the soon to be 7th graders and they asked the Jazz band to play a few numbers before and during this meeting, it was very casual as you can see they usually wear concert black, but not this night! they sounded so good! Here's Chris on his guitar....I don't know how he can see anything with those shades on, and I'm surprised they didn't make him take em off!

Wow! I can't believe it has been 18 years, I love him as much as the day I married him, actually a lot more! I remember this day like it was yesterday, so much has happened and so many more memories still to be made.

A very special gift

The other day Joey and I were cleaning out his closet  we came to a bag tied in a knot and he said "Oh no! I forgot to give this to you, this was special gift I made for you at scouts and forgot I hid it in my closet"
when I opened it up there was a card and soap in the shape of a high heel that he made for me...and I love it! A special gift from my special boy:)

I like how he spelled Merry, but to me Mary seems more appropriate too since she is a very important part of Christmas:)

.I also love that he felt the need to sign his last name.
