patty cake, patty cake baker's man!

For the last two weeks Joey has been baking up a storm, he cracks us all up! He doesn't need any help, he just does it all on his own. Last night he made a no bake cheesecake with cherries on top which was fabulous! as soon as he was done with that he started to make some cookies,  I told him to stop and maybe do it tomorrow. Well this morning I was upstairs cleaning and I came downstairs for something and found him in the middle of baking these cookies called "jelly Jamborees". He sure keeps us all happy with the wonderful pastries he makes, I think He's gonna make a good husband someday!

Chris, the musician!

Chris is quite the musician in the family, He took 3 years of piano
and decided to learn the guitar and bass but still continued piano in school.. This year he has not only had a percussion class at school but he gets to school an hour early everyday to be a part of the Jazz band. Here he is at his last concert he is the only guitarist this year. His new desire is to learn the Sax, so that is what he'll be taking next year. I have no doubt he will be amazing!

Bottle caps!!

This is a fun project to do with the kids, You take a bottle cap drill a tiny hole on top
download any image you'd like and cut into one inch circle, then put in a few drops of resin mixture, let dry. Hang on leather or ? and there you have it. One cool necklace!!

Joey has many hidden talents!

Last week at cub scouts they learned about the Chinese culture, and they learned how to use chop sticks, and each of the boys were sent home with a set.  Well, I have tried several times in my life to use them and for the life of me I cannot. Last night Joey pulled out those chop sticks and ate his entire dinner with them, we were all impressed to say the least!!
