A Great day with my sisters!

Every year since I've moved here to Utah, My sister Regina always goes out of her way to make my birthday special! This year she treated me and my sister Lisa to a day in Park City. It started out at a ski resort where we got on ski lifts that took us up this very large mountain to a restaurant. 

Where we had lunch, after the server took our order he said "you must be hungry!" we were wondering why he said that till our order came

they were very large portions. But it was fabulous! we shared everything! YUMMY!

We then went downtown to try to do some shopping but it was way out of our price range...but we still tried to fit in

when that didn't work we decided to go to the outlet stores. It is so much fun spending time with my sisters, especially when I need a good laugh!

My new throne!

I have been wanting a stool for my bathroom so I can sit to do my makeup..But everyone I have found has been at least 30.00 or more, Today while I was out yard sailing I found one 5.00.  I was in heaven....Perfect! It just need a few adjustments :)

Skateboard Mom!

Well, lets see...I've always wanted my son Chris to do more outside activities and these last couple of years he's really gotten into the sport of skate boarding which I thought was great! well, a month ago (exactly) Chris came to me and said "Mom school is getting ready to start and I need new shoes, and I really want these one's, please!" and they had to be white, after hunting around town for the best deal, we found them. He was so happy! well today I saw em.........stupid skateboard!  whats funny is now he loves em even more.

My Sweet Chris!

Christopher  is 14 years old and is so much fun having around. I just hate it when he's out of town for anything I really love being with that Kid. Ever since he was little he's always been my little buddy . Now he's just a bit bigger than me, but he's still my buddy. He's been waiting to turn 14 so that he can finally  go to the stake dances. He's so funny, he hasn't missed a single one. Here he is tonight right after he got ready, Have fun tonight Chris!............I just love him!

I just love my sisters! My sister Regina (middle) has recently informed us that she is taking me and Lisa on a special excursion for my birthday in a couple of weeks! I'm so excited, I'm sure we will have a blast! Life is good!

the BEST peanut butter cookies ever!

Every once in a while I crave something sweet, and only then if I can't get my boys to bake something, I will....I have only one cookie recipe book and it has never failed me. "Mrs. Fields Cookie Book" I made her soft and chewy peanut butter cookies. My family loves 'em!
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/4 cups packed brown sugar
1 1/4 cups white sugar
1 cup salted butter (softened)
3 large eggs
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 tsp. pure vanilla
chopped peanuts (optional)
Bake @ 300
18-22 minutes

Our Garden

I know your'e probably sick of this by now but it gives me so much joy to watch this garden grow! I can't wait till the cucumbers come in because I found a simple pickle recipe on Home Sweet Home. Check her out!

A Day at the Zoo!

Tamra and her sweet little family stayed with me for a few days, and while she was here we took the kids to the zoo.
